TCM and restraint of sex

Dear Tutor,
TCM says that excessive sexual activities cause great harm to the body.

What view of TCM is on the restraint of these activities?

Will the comlete restraint of any of sexual activities for a long time make harm to the body too?

There are different opinion on this point.
Personally I think the complete restraint is not good at all!
Traditional Chinese medicine is not the Daoist discipline, it's different, say nothing of Buddhism.
Even in the Daoist discipline, some sects are also in favor of the appropriate frequency of sexual activities, I mean the sexual intercourse.

In fact, some Daoist sects even utilize the sexual activity as a measure of practice, but they don't let the ejaculation happen.
