On account of the major pathomechanism of The disease, which is asthenia of healthy Qi mixing up with sthenia of pathogenic, the principal should be strengthening asthenia, and the asthenia ,and the assistant treatment is dispelling evil. Sometimes, branch repletion takes a grander place and becomes the chief cause of a bad turning of the condition of a patient, then principal ,the principal treatment should be dispelling evil. After summing up many internal export' s opinions, we classified the methods of treatment into 4 sorts.
1.Asthenia of spleen and Kidney.
Recipe and use of medicals: Decoction of six mild drugs adding Radix Aucklandiae and FructusAmomi and.Dangshen root, rhizome of largehead atractylodes, Indian bread, Radix Glycyrrhizae Praeparata , tangerine peed, rhizome of ternate pinellia, root of common aucklandia, fruit of villous amomum, rhizome of common cruculigo, sagittate epimedium herb. If abdominal distention, add bark of coromandel lannea growing in Sichuan province, barley germinating fruit; If severe aching pain in waist and knees, add eucommia bark toasted to and root of two tooth achyranthes growing in Henan Province;If asthenia of Qi encroaches on yang, gradual asthenia of splenic yang, abdominal pain with diarrhea to reach, cold hands and feet, add cassiabarktee bark and dried rhizome of common ginger to warm the middle to diss ipate cold.
2.Asthenia of Splenorenal Yang.
Recipe and use of medicinals: Zhengwu (god of controlling water).(<<treatise on Exogenous Febrile Diseases>>)variation, reduced use of medicinals. Fresh r hizome of common ginger rhizome of largehead atractylodes, dried root of common monkshood. Ginseng root, root of Mongolian milk vetch. If sloppy stool, add fruit of malaytea scurpea, seed of common nutmeg;if cold pain in waist or stomach and limbs cold, add dried rhizome of common ginger Cassiabarktee bark ; If nocturnal polyuria,thin elderly,add rhizome of common yam toasted to broun and seed of gordon eurgale ; if dropsy badly, add Indian bread, rhizome of oriental waterplantain, rhizome of largehead atra ctylodes and seed of Asiatic plantain to promote urination to alleviate edema.
３．Asthenia of liver and kidney yin.
Recipe and use of medicinals : Bolus of six Drugs(containing Rhizoma Rehmanniae praeparatae)(Key to Differentiation and Treatment of Disease of children). Root of prepared rehmannia, rhizome of common yam; fruit of Asiatic cornelian cherry, Indian bread, rhizome of oriental waterplantain, rootbark of sub shrubby peony, fruit of glossy privet, eclipta herb. If xerophthamas, add fruit of barbary wolfberry and flower of florists chrysant hemum; If dizziness and Tinnitis , add root of two tooth achyranthes growing in Henan Province, root of common peony, and root of tuber fleeceflower; If feverish palms and soles, add rootbark of Chinese wolfberry and tortoise Shell and plastron.
4、Asthenia of both Qi and Yin.
Recipe and use of medicinals:Decoction Radix Ginseny and of Radix Astragali sea Hedysari variatition.Ginseng root,root of Mongolian milkvetch,root of adhesive rhizome of commom yam,fruit of Asiatic cornelian cherry,rootbark of subshrubby peony,Indian bread,rhizome oforiental waterplantain variation after asthenia of spleen and kidney and asthenia of liver and kidney Yang.
5、Asthenia of both Yin and Yang.
Recipe and use of medicinals: (Jisheng pill for invigorating kidney energy (from Radix Angelicae sinesis Decoction for Enriching Blood). Root of adhesive rechmannia, rhizome of common yam, fruit of Asiatic cornelian cherry, rootbark of subshrubby peony, Indian bread. Rhizome of oriental waterpilantain, dried root of common monkshood, cassiabarktree branchlet ,root of two tooth achyranthes , seed of Asiatic piantain, root of Mongolian milk vetch and root of Chinese angelica Variation after asthenia of spleen and kidney Yang and asthenia of liver and kidney Yin.
Many evil syndromes mix up with asthenia of healthy Qi syndromes ,if patients are suffering from such as exopathy ,phlegm-heat. Water-dampness, damp turbidity ,damp-heat ,blood stagnation, wind-motion wind-driness and etc, they could be cured by doctors according to the syndromes.
