Dear Tutor,
is that enough only write the name of formula like mahuang tang. The chinese herbal shop farmacy will know it details, without we need to write the components of mahuang tang herbs presciptions?

Dear Johan,
Of course you have to write the names of all the conponents of your formula, and very important the dosage of each of them!!!

Of course you could write the name of a formula, but that's not really done in China, for Chinese practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine would make more or less changes for the original formula, for every patient is different from the others!

So we have to specify the names and dosage for every and each herbal material.
