Thank you Medboo for this forum. Looking forward to chatting with fellow students during my continued course of study.
Here is a question for someone regarding Course D, Part 2 - Acupuncture and Moxibustion treatment. What are Ashi Points, and where can I read more about them?
Thanks,
Prof.P

Ashi Points are also called " reflexing points, " unfixed points " or " tender spots. considering to represent the earliest stage of acupuncture point evolution. Clinically, they are mostly used for pain.
Tender spots can be used as acupoints, and this was the primary method for point selection in early acupuncture and moxibustion treatments. Without specific names and definite locations, Ashi Points are considered to represent the earliest stage of acupoint evolution. Clinically, they are mostly used for pain syndromes.
BTW, please offer your question in the Medboo Online-training Students Forum next time. In there, your tutor will give you detail answer for your question. Thank you.
