I'm no stranger to the Theory of Yin and Yang but am perplexed by what is stated in the first sentence of the General Description that the Theory of Yin and Yang and Five Elements represents the " Naive Chinese Materialism and Dialectics".  Can you explain more about what a "Materialist" is or what his or her views are in Ancient times?  I understand that it contrast dulaism.  If yin and yang have a sence of dualism how is it represented by the materialistic philisophy.

If you have any information that you have online it would be nice to learn more about this.

Of course the ancient Chinese philosophy is materialistic!
For our ancestors establish the theories according to the Great Nature, don’t you think the nature is materialistic?
I don’t have more information on it, but in China, all the textbooks of traditional Chinese medicine say so.
