Dear Tutor:

The text section that describes retention of phlegm heat in the lung mentions a "rooting, rapid pulse." What is a "rooting pulse"? Did they mean to say "rolling" pulse? I cannot find any description of a rooting pulse.

Yes, you are right, it should be rolling and rapid pulse!


It's indeed a misspelling or a printing mistake.
