Dear Tutor , What is the difference between the mutual wax and wane of Yin and Yang and the mutal transformation of Yin and Yang so that one is quantitative and one is qualitative? Is it Qualitative at the actual change over point? Wayne

Dear Wayne,
Yes, indeed the waxing and waning of Yin and Yang is the quantitative change while the transformation is the qualitative one.

When the quantitative change moves to the extremity, that's the turning point, thus the change of the quality.
