how long to take herbs...

hiya,

i've been given Dang Gui pills (8 x 3 times a day) and a tea (1 x 1 sachets a day) to try and bring my periods (menstruation) back after prolonged hormone treatment....

I have takent the 6 sachets and the pills (still have some pills left) and on the first few days i had the start of mentruation - now on day 7 - but for he last two days i've had nothing..

now I have two quetsions:

do these herbs restart my cycle at ovuilation poitn nd what i had an an ovulation discharge? and therefore i sould have my period in 7 to 14 dys time

if not and i should be having my period right now - how long should i take these pils for and should i get more tea...

sorry for all the questons but my TCM store is over 40 miles away so its a long way to go to ask them...
