Is basic and fundamental to memorize it. In my particular case, took me a long time because I'm Latin-speaking and is very different language. But in so far as that wrote in my notebook they fell in my mind. Do it that I tell you and you'll make it.
Madhu is also a Latin speaker!
But if one could read and memorize the Chinese words, it would be very helpful for studying tradtional Chinese medicine. for the names of acupuncture points, one could try to learn them in course C.

It's not so easy to learn the Chinese language, especially the spoken one!
But it really sounds good, and totally different from all the tones of other languages!
I think we are quite unique!
For sure when one has got used to know the language, or to know the way of tones and rimes, one would be really appreciated with it!
It's much better in the tones and rimes, than many other languages!
