Recognition of Training in China

Hi. Could you advise if the training is recognised by the TCM Regulatory Authority in China as being sufficeint training to practise as a physician in China? Are ther further education opportunities after getting the certificates of the online courses (ie are the certs recognised by higher institutes like universities for credits and further studies)?

Thanks for your prompt reply. However, I would most appreciate it if you could be more specific and informative in your reply.

You mentioned that the training is recognised by China TCM regulatory authority, could you advise which authority is in charge of certifying chinese physician in China pls? Also, after completing the online programme, are there additional training/practicum that need to be done before one can be licensed in China as chinese physician?

After completing the programme, can one pursue higher studies like diplomas or masters at CATCM or other colleges? If so, some examples of the available programmes and the link to the colleges would be most helpful.

Hello Dear IWM, I am sorry for my delay answer.

If you wish to be Chinese medicine physician or acupuncturist in China after completing the training program, you need to attend the license examination held by the Chinese National Examination Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine (CNECTCM) and Chinese International Examination Center for Acupuncture & Moxibustion(CIECAM) under the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of P. R. China.
However, you maybe need to attend the additional training and practice before you take the license examination.

After completing the online program, you can pursue higher studies like diplomas or masters in the universities or colleges of TCM in China, for example, the Beijing University of TCM ( http://www.bjucmp.edu.cn) and Shanghai University of TCM (http://www.shutcm.com), etc.
