Dear David King,

In the chapter of the stomach meridian there is a note written: (ST4): It is effective in treating facial paralysis when used together with ST6 .... I couldn’t find Quianzheng (EX-HN). There are 15 Extrapoints on head and neck. But none of them is called Quianzheng. Could you please tell me more.

Thank you for now...

Alexander Widhalm

Dear Alexander,
I think at least you should finish the study of courses C and D.
If you can manage completing the study of all the seven courses, ABCDEFG, that's the best for you to have the internship here in Beijing.

As to how long you need to learn the practice of acupuncture, it all depends on your requirement.
If you want to be really skilled in acupuncture practice, it does need a while, couple of months at least.

You could write Mr. Pan Ping (master@ontcm.com) asking the details about the internship.

Dear David King,

Thank you for the answer.

I was wondering when it would be the right moment to do my first internship
in China and how much time I should spend in China to learn something about acupuncture practice.

Dear Alexander Widhalm,
Tutor told me you asked this question.

In fact, the point is not inlcuded in the official list of acupoints in China, so I think it's not that important.

When you come to China to have your internship, maybe you can see the point, but I'm not quite sure, for not every one of the acupuncture practitioner would use the point, I don't use the point myself.

Best regards
D. K.
