Diseased meridian: Heart Meridian of Hand Shaoyin
Manifestations: Cardiac pain, irritability, palpitations, pain underneath the ribs, insomnia, night sweating, dry throat, thirst, pain in the medial aspect
of the upper arm and a hot sensation in the palms.

Diseased meridian: Small Intestine Meridian of Hand Taiyang
Manifestations: Deafness, yellow sclera (white part of the eye), ringing in ears, sore throat, swelling of the cheek, pain along the posterior and lateral aspect of the shoulder and arm. Possibly feverish sensation, irritability, ulcers in mouth and migraine headaches.

Diseased meridian: Bladder Meridian of Foot Taiyang
Manifestations: Retention of urine, involuntary leakage of urine, mental disturbance, tearing eyes when exposed to wind, nasal congestion, runny nose, nose bleed, headache and pain in the back of the neck, upper and lower back, buttocks and posterior aspect of lower limbs.

Diseased meridian: Kidney Meridian of Foot Shaoyin
Manifestations: Jaundice, sore throat, anorexia, vexation, tendency to feel fearful, insomnia, asthma, shrtness of breath, diarrhea or constipation, invluntary leakage of urine, frequent urination, nocturnal emission, impotence, irregular menstruation, edema (swelling of the body), pain in the mid and lower back, pain along the spinal column and medial aspect of thigh, weakness of the lower limbs and feverish sensation in the soles of the feet.
