Good day to you all! And Happy New Year of the Fire Dog!

Just one question: In Chapter 1, section 2, point 2.1 it says that the character of metal is to descend and to be clean and that of water is to be cold and flow downwards. Question: is there any difference between "descend" and "flow downwars" or is it just a stylistic choice of words in order not to sound repetitive?

Thanks
Juan

Dear Juan,
Can we say the metal flowing down?
For sure the water could flow downward.
What do you think the property or nature or the character of the metal? Is it heavy? Which one is heavier? Water? Wood? Earth? or Metal?
So where the heavy things mowe?

Bye!
