Hello to everyone!

I'm new on this forum and I wonder if anybody could help me with some doubts. I'm an acupuncturist an I'm having some difficulties on prescribing chinese formulas. Here is one of my doubts:

- If I have a Bi syndrome of Wind-Damp-Cold on the articulations but at the same time I have a False Heat (Yin Deficiency) of the Heart or I have a rising Liver Yang, is it safe to prescribe a formula that is warm in nature for the Bi Syndrome? Is it not going to aggravate the heat that is also in the body in another place? Even if I also prescribe another formula for the heat?

With warm regards
Margarida
