Title: USA Equivalancy and Clinicals

Hello. I am interested in your acupuncture distance learning course. However, I live in the USA and have a couple of questions. How safe is it really for me to learn acupuncture techniques with no hands-on training? There are no acupuncture schools in Michigan (where I live), and so nowhere to learn locally. Also, if I were to take all of the acupuncture courses what would that equal in the US? Dilomate, DR, Licensed, etc.... Thank you very much for your time.

Hello, dir sor or madam, thank your interest in our acupuncture distance learning course.
About the clinical practice, we will arrange the student to take clinical practice in the hospitals attached the academy in Beijing, China, after the student finish the studying of courses they selected and pass the relevant exams. The mode of internship is to take the clinical practice in the morning and classroom lecture in the afternoon.
The chief acupuncturists and veterans in Wangjing hospital will be the instructors for the internship and lecture.
In the morning, the instructor will show the students how dose he/she diagnosis the patients and make the principle of treatment and selection of acupoints, as well as the manipulation of needle, sometimes the instructor will let the students to make practice on the patients under the promise of patients.
In the afternoon, the instructor will give the students a theory lecture according to the cases treated in the morning. It is a good teaching model on the integration of theory and practice.

About the licience, I think you need to attend the examination of licensed acupuncturist in your area and state if you want to be the legal practitioner on Chinese medicine and acupuncture, for example, you need to apply the examination for the licensed acupuncturist issued by NCCAOM or the State Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Michigan.
The China Academy of TCM is listed in NCCAOM as evaluated institutions by AACRAO.
Please visit the website of NCCAOM at http://www.nccaom.org/educatedoutus.htm

However, it is fact that the students can learn more the knowledge and technique on Chinese medicine and acupuncture with less time and money from our distance training program.

Best regards
