Title: deficient blood

Hello. I need clarification on what constitutes blood deficiency forn the TCm perspective, In my western mind I can only understand it as iron deficiency, low blood volume or clotting type problems. I ask because I know someone whose fingers have begun to stiffen up over night and remain paralyzed sometimes for days at a time , this is not trauma related. they have a liver problem and I traced that to deficiency (yang)but I am not really grasping the concept, nor am I clear on what the treatment would be for the problem. any suggestions?

Hi, rabiah,
What course are you in now?

Course A or B?

If you are in course A, you'll have more in course B, where there will be more on the syndromes of blood.

In fact, in my memory, in course A, the later part talks about Qi and blood, there may be something on the blood deficiency, but you have to contact Tutor for he's the master of the fundamentals.

D.K.
