Title: Emotions and their effect on the internal Zang-organs

Dear tutor,

How are you?

How can we understand the relation between an emotion like anger and the conflict situation with the liver?

How can an illness of the liver cause anger?

and vica versa

How can anger, cause liver fire, so that the liver energy rise and is seen in the respective/co-emergent sense organ the eye.

On what is the relation between the liver and the eye based, except from the liver meridian which passes the eye? Or is it only the meridian?

How can one see this in relation with all other conflict causing emotions and their respective zang organs. I understood that also the Fu organs are involved in this process?

How can an emotion which is without real material substance affect/attack something existing material like an organ made from tissue ?

Thank you in advance for Your attention,

Tsultrim

Dear Tsultrim,
You are welcome to study Medboo courses of traditional Chinese medicine.

As to the emotions, I think you'll learn more details in etiology.

For the relations between the eyes and liver, first of all, it's because of the connections through the meridian and secondly, liver stores blood, so the eyes need the nourishment from the blood, as it's stated in the text.

Bye!
Best regards

For sure it doesn't matter what type of animal liver is in use, but usually the sheep liver is more used in old days.

Why?
