Title: the direction of yin / yang meridians

 DEAR DAVID DU

I would like to recommend myself ...since  long time i am in practice of chi kung exersizes i had some impression of something goes down from HEAVEN and back of my body until my toes  if i folding upwards my hands .. and something is coming up from EARTH   and starting from my toes coming up from the medial side of my body.

Now with reading the course C i read that 3 yang meridians come down from the tips of our fingernails (if one is in a folding hand pose ) laterally of the body reaching the head and then from there another 3 yang meridians reaching the toes of the feet (with exception of yangming stomach meridian of the feet that travelling frontal part of the body !!!.

on the frontal side of the body 3 yin meridians start from the toes of the feet .. reaching chest and diaphragm and from there another 3 yin meridians (if one is in a folding hand pose ) start from chest and axillary region and reaching the tips of the fingernails.

Can i suppose that yang energy from HEAVEN run downwards from yang meridians to support EARTH and yin energy of the EARTH comes upwards to control HEAVEN ?

BEST REGARDS

E.R

Dear Huan Dao,
Happy New Year to you and yours!
Basically you have a right understanding! But the meridian system is very complicated so there are something which need to be investigated further.
Just hope the knowledge in course C could help you understand more in your Qi Gong practice.

Huan Dao,
I am a student of module c at this time I am to present the Final.
My advice to you is:
Many of the concepts Module C clarifies many doubts you have, studying with great dedication and you will see that everything is clear easily.
Otherwise patiently studies pertinent to the 5 elements for them are the key to the study of TCM.

Happy when it can help, count me in
Xime

To practice Qi Gong, I think one has to be sure he/she understands the theories and the methodology in a very correct way!
It could be dangerous!!!
So, it's my sincere wish one needs to read the meridians very carefully, before practicing Qi Gong!

I scare ...

I do not practice Tai Chi or Qi Gong ...
I have not been near those precious movements

But Tutor can you explain a little more about these errors, or dammages that can be committed by ignorance of these disciplines?

it is an issue of energy imbalance or blockage that may occur?

Stay attentive to your answer ....
Thank you.

Hi, Xime, it's not so easy to explain the things here in the forum, I'm sure one day, when you come to have your internship in Beijing, we could have a special talk on this topic, yes we could talk a lot about it.
