Dear tutor:

The text mentions the theory of qi and blood but does not go into detail. However, in the section on the theory of the zang-fu organs, the part about the heart describes deficiency of heart qi and heart yang, and deficiency of heart blood and heart yin.

The other organs are not described in quite the same way. Is that what is meant by the theory of qi and blood?

Thank you

Ed Austin

Dear Ed,
Yes, there's deficiency of Yin, Yang, Qi and blood in nearly all the organs, but for different ones the different parts would be more stressed.

You and your brothers and sisters are from the same family but you are not exactly the same, are you?

So the organs.

In fact the physiological functions determine the difference of their illness or pathologies.
