I know its more of a western thing, but many people have been using tinctures for their daily herbal intake for some time.
The point of tinctures is the alcohol in them is able to extract many more of the active principals from the dried herbs than the digestive system. Besides that benefit, the alcohol acts great as a preservative, and tinctures can be stored for long periods of time. The other thing is they are quite potent, for their size; one teaspoonful would be the equivalent of many grams of dried herb.
Ive used some, sold some, and made some. There great!
