meridians & extra meridians

Hello,

Do the 8 extra meridians pair up with the 12 main meridians that are named after the major organs.
What does Du, Ren,Chong, Dai, Yinqiao, Yangqiao, Yinwei, and Yangwei mean. Is there any English translation.

Are these 8 extra meridian considered to be collaterals?"

I think the text tells clearly about the difference between the regular meridians and the extra meridians.

Likewise, the text tells the meridian-collaterals system consists mainly two parts, the meridian system and collateral system.

So, what do you think about the Eight extra meridian? Are they included in the meridian system or in the collateral system?

The text also tells the extra meridians do not have the pertaining or connecting relations with the Zang-Fu organs, and this is one of the difference between the regular and extra meridians. So what are the other differences? Would you please find out and post them hre?
