Could you tell me, please, if the internship in Beijing entails enough clinical hours to cover eligibility to sit for the NCCAOM certification exam? Further, are there clinical hours for both acupuncture and herbology? If so, how many for each? Thanks.
Hello Carlene,
The term of internship in Beijing is flexible according to the requirement of students. You can prolong the internship term if necessary. Based on the rewuirement of NCCAOM, the applicant for acupuncture license needs to have a clinical component that includes at least 660 hours of clinical training, the student at least need to take the internship about four months. Of course, there are the clinical hours for both acupuncture and herbology. You can choice each of them or both of them according to your individual condition.
Best regards
