One of my friend comes to ask for help, he just find out he has lung cancer. I am really confuse now, since I would not find any information about lung cancer. What kind catalog it fall in? Use reinforce or reduce way? Would you please give me some idea?

Long time no hearing! How are you doing recently?
As your patient is concerned, I suppose you should do some Back-Shu Points, and some ones from lung meridian. Besides, you may try gallbladder points.
You don't have to think of the needling methods, perhaps the even movement is good. I only stress a good needling sensation, i.e. the patient feels the needling, not much pain, maybe a good distention, or soreness.
Not too strong, make the patient well tolerable.
Possibly the needling sensation will change more or less when your treatment continues. So, please tell me more about it.

I think first of all, it must be a long-term treatment, you don't expect to cure the problem within a week or a month.
Once for every second day is Ok, but it's not the matter of one course or couple of courses.
Meanwhile, the patient should also go to see the specialist of oncology regularly.
