Hi Tutor.
What mean when the three right pulse are strong and the three lefht pulse are weak? And, when one pulse is very weak is necessary to strengthen the concerning organ?
Best regards
Wilson
Dear Wilson,
When one side of the pulse is evidently weaker than the other side, we should consider in general the force of Qi and blood.
As you said the right side is strong while the left one is weaker, we usually say the Qi is a bit stronger than blood. Then you might decide which is in disorder according to the patients' manifestations.
When one position of pulse is abnormal for sure we could deal with the corresponding organ, e.g. the left Guan pulse is thready and weaker, we could think of the liver blood deficiency, so to replenish it. But sometimes it is not really weaker or thready but rather twisted, I mean the liver pulse, so we should think of the liver Qi stagnation, or even worse the liver blood stagnation.

Dear Tutor

Wilson
Souds like a good news!
I think the pulse is not only thready but should also be hesitant, I should despict the pulse, i.e. when you feel the pulse, you don't feel it easily, it is more or less twisted, or shorter than usual, and seems stop here and there, but in fact all the time it is palpable.
Maybe it is not exactly what I said.
Bye!
Tutor
Dear Tutor
Really the pulse is thread and twist, but not intermitent. It is regular and rapid in the right, and deep, thread and weaker in the left side.
Best regards
Wilson Marino
Sure it shouldn't be intermittent!
If so, we have to worry about the heart Qi!!!
Deep, thready and weak pulse does indicate the insufficiency of Qi and blood, but it appears more on the left side, so we should think more of the blood.
Yes. She has insomnia, unrest and depression.
Hey, it seems Tutor could treat patient in Internet,
It show that Tutor is a great master (or Sifu in chinese)
Dear Wilson,
Thank you very much for your great rating!
But as a matter of fact, I'm not a great master, but just an ordinary practitioner of TCM.
Tutor
Ok "great ordinary practitioner".
Dear Wilson,
You ARE kidding me!
Ordinary is a good word for me, I prefer to be ordinary.
It's not comfortable to be a GREAT person, too trouble some,
Tutor
My Dear tutor
…as I said recently you are very wise MASTER and not an ordinary practitioner of TCM and this agreement comes from other students too.
I would like to give me an explanation on pulse diagnosis that I had stuck long time ago !
In chapters 9 / 10 / 48 of Ling Shu and chapter 77 of Su Wen tells about “renying qi kou fa” can I suppose that renying is referring the pulse that is taken to stomach 9
And “qi kou “ as the wrist region where the pulse is taken ?
What useful explanation you may give for these two different regions of taking the pulse ?
Is this accurate in clinical application in china today ?
I think that this manner of taking these pulses has something to do with meridians in particular but I am not sure !!!
You gave a useful explanation [b:8c40c26f68]when the right side hand pulse is strong while the left one is weaker, we usually say the Qi is a bit stronger than blood. Then you might decide which is in disorder according to the patients' manifestations.[/b:8c40c26f68] But what can I suppose when left side hand pulse is strong while right side pulse is weaker ? Can we say that blood is a bit stronger than qi ?
Best regards
And wish you have a nice day
