Title: Acu-point as skin moistener

Hi,

I am new to this forum and have chosen the name of Bao Gu as a sign of respect for the lady teaching medical and taoist knowledge she obtained from her father, Bao Qing, to her quite famous husband and well known Ge Hong.

Since I have decided to become more practical, I am curious if there are acupuncture points moistening the skin, so I could save time and money to go and shop some facial moistening cream. I might as well buy new books and spend my time for learning new points

instead….

There must be some points on the lung meridian….

Dear Bao Gu,

Your name sounds funny!

As to your question, yes of course acupuncture could help the skin, but not the way you are thinking of.

In fact we do have the herbs to this purpose, but you have to learn the herbal medicine first.

Acupuncture is used to treat the skin diseases in China, but not only for moisten the skin and nobody likes being needled for this purpose.

Yup
I agree that the lung channel aid but is not everything. Essential oils found support for skin support. For exemple: jojoba oil, aloe, shea butter, others. Small recommendation I gave you.

The skin is not only influenced by lung!
Yes, the essence is more important to the skin! The congenital and qcquired essence in our body! For sure the blood is also important, but first of all, we need to  think of the essence, our own essence!

Acupuncture could help the skin, very much!!!
I have this type of patients, and for sure I've got very good effects!

Hi, Xime,
A back acne is often due to the heat or fire in the body, or in the blood! Maybe the heat could be mixed with dampness. But we do need the syndrome differential procedure, to see what the syndrome is.

When I discover that syndrome is... I share in the forum, I hope -you explain to me a little more.

Thank you very much.

When you come to Beijing, I think we could talk much more!
To learn medicine, the best way is to share the teachers' experience, of course, face to face!
