Chinese or English herb names in exams and notes?

My previous question was concerning the formula and strategies course which, on the course sample, shows English and latin names of the single herbs that make up the formula. Please see link below.

http://www.ontcm.com/dotnetnuke/CourseSample/FormulaeofTCM/Chapter4/tabid/373/Default.aspx

Mahuang Tang( Ephedra Decoction )

Ingredients
Ephedra, Herba Ephedrae (with joints removed) 6g
Cinnamon twig,Ramulus Cinnamomi 4g
Bitter apricot kernel, Semen Armeniacae Amarum (with its skin removed) 9g
Prepared licorice root, Radix Glycyrrhizae Praeparata 3g

Please would you be able to let me know if this can be given in pinyin, and 100% clarification that pinyin will also be used in the exam questions.

1. Do you provide notes for the formula herb course using pinyin?

2. Do the exam questions use pinyin for ALL herbs and formulas?

This will be a deciding factor as to whether I take this course, so thank you for your answer.

Many thanks.
