According to the Eligibility Criteria for the Acupuncture Examination issued by NCCAOM, the education must consist of a minimum of 1000 didactic and 500 clinical hours. It means that you need to take clinical internship not less than 500 hours, namely 3 months, to qualify for the NCCAOM exam. <br />

I found that my state, maryland, has a Board of acupuncture. They require 1800 hrs didactic and 300 clinical. Thats 37.5 hours. Do you have clinical practice on weekends? <br />
